According to SJSC ‘State Real Estate’ (SRE) board member Andris Vārna, the company has announced that it accepts applications for the auction of the building at Eksporta iela 6 in Riga, while a new auction will be run for the house at Kalķu iela 24.

‘These auction properties are a chance to buy real estate in prestigious locations in Riga. Both Eksporta iela 6 and Kaļķu iela 24 allow a variety of uses, both as office space and other commercial premises,’ Vārna explained.

The property at Eksporta iela 6 consists of aliquot parts of a land plot with a total area of 1650 m2 and the buildings on the plot, including an office building with a total floor area of 5854.1 m2, an open area with a pavestone and concrete surface and a total area of 336.7 m2, as well as utility system lines and structures.

The potential uses of the property are diverse, but the architectural history of the building and its current conditions suggest developing it as office premises as the best possible option.

The property is located at the corner of Eksporta Street and Vašingtona Square, overlooking Dziesmusvētku Park and Andrejosta. The Eksporta iela 6 building is an architectural heritage site built in 1913 based on a design by architect Max Deubner, and it is a part of the Forburga development quarter.

The auction for the real property at Eksporta iela 6 will take place between 13 February 2024 and 14 March 2024. Interested parties will be able to apply for it until 4 March 2024. The initial price is set at EUR 1,700,000, with a bidding increment of EUR 10,000. For more information about the auction and the property, visit the auction’s official website at izsoles.ta.gov.lv.
